Ufirskrift mótsins er "Opnar dyr".  Í Op. 3:8 stendur: "Ég hef látið dyr standa opnar fyrir þér sem enginn getur lokað".  Opnar dyr hjá Guði er aðgangur að blessunum. Komum og tökum við og göngum inn í þær blessanir sem Guð hefur fyrir okkur.

Barnastarf

Barnastarf er á samkomunum kl. 14, báða dagana.  Athugið að ekki er barnastarf á morgun og kvöldsamkomunum, en opin er aðstaða fyrir foreldra að fara með börnum sínum og hlusta á predíkun gegnum hátalarakerfi.

Láttu endilega sjá þig og taktu fólk með þér.  Mótið er öllum opið.

Carl-Gustaf Severin

Fjölmargir Íslendingar þekkja vel til Carl-Gustaf, sér í lagi þeir sem verið hafa á biblíuskóla Livets Ord í Uppsölum.  Hann er einna þekktastur fyrir trúboðsstarf sitt í fyrrum Sovétríkjunum og Rússlandi.

Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Estonia and of cause Kazakhstan know Carl Gustav as the most authoritative teacher of Bible and preacher. Carl – Gustav is big friend of “New life” church and pastor Maxim Maximov. Carl – Gustav has been serving many times with Word of God to “New life” church and he has prophesied for servants of the church. Carl – Gustav Severin is dynamical Evangelist from Sweden, who has very much worked at the field of God, spreading churches in the former Soviet Union countries and rising up the pastors.
 
He knows habits, morals and also national mentality of the people of these countries much better then even by them own.

Carl – Gustav’s Ministry are distinguished with the dynamical sermon and also much of miracles and signs. Everywhere after his preaching the Gospel of the Jesus Christ many people got salvation and healing, and also they gave them own life to the Christ and have decided to follow Him up to the end.

Carl – Gustav Severin was born in 1953. After finishing his studying in a Bible school in Talsa (America) in 1983 – 1984 he has returned to Sweden, where he continued his ministration to the God. First time he has felt God’s appeal to work in Soviet Union at the Conference in Minneapolis, where he has seen Russian pastor in his vision, who was hotly praying about makers that God could send to the Russia.

Not having remained indifferent to this vision, in March, 1985 he has crossed border of Soviet Union for the first time. The first city which he could see became Leningrad (present St.-Petersburg). And the first church was small church in Gadchin (Leningrad region) in which God started to use him very powerfully.

From that time he together with most of us went through dissolution of Soviet Union and also through the difficult time of forming new government. He preached Good news not only in Russia but also in many other former Soviet Union countries, particularly, in Caucasus where the internal situation in that difficult period was not one of the secure.

For today it is difficult to find many people like Carl – Gustav who could give people behind "Iron Curtain" so much of love, warmth, empathy, prayers and hearty kindness. He has been crossing many times unlimited expanses from west to the east, from south to the north to bring to people warmth and the joy of the Lord in many countries of our Motherland.

Making a declaration of love to the people of former Soviet Union, he has written a book “People who has stolen our hearts”, describing that extraordinary history of the beginning and also the beginning Protestant’s churches in Russia and in other former Soviet Union countries.
Even that he visits Russia not that often like use to because God uses him in new missioners fields, anyway we know that we have forever left in his heart.

The family of Carl – Gustav lives in Sweden, he is married and has five children – Andreas, Teresa, Daniel, Pernilla, Nathanael.
